Charcoal-black Pochampally silk with a crisp, fluid drape and a subtle, oil-finished depth. The body carries a quiet geometric cadence in resist-dyed ikat, framed by mustard-gold stripes that keep the palette sharp and intentional. The pallu shifts into Jamdani—woven butis and paisley accents that add a soft, hand-crafted lift without breaking the monochrome mood.

Wear it for evenings that need polish without sparkle—gallery openings, festive dinners, or formal get-togethers. It holds pleats cleanly, moves easily, and photographs with strong contrast.

This is a disciplined black with a warm gold edge. The Telia grid keeps it grounded for repeat wear, while the Jamdani pallu delivers the ceremony when you turn.

What Customers Say

Such a fabulous jamdani sari - I loved the weave, the design, the colours, and the lightness of the fabric. Its so comfortable in the summer months. Since the saree finishing was already done, I could drape it right away. Thanks Divasutra for the excellent service. - Soumya T., New York

Authentic handloom sarees. The Ikkat Saree I bought from Divasutra was perfect. The quality of the silk, the sheen, the beautiful design reflected the mark of a Padmashree weaver. The falls and pico were already done, so I could easily wear it. Only thing is if you could use a box to pack the saree along with the saree cover, it would be even better.- Sudha G, New Jersey

I was a bit skeptic about buying a Tangail saree. But the soft cotton was so good to feel. Also I did not have to worry about the falls pico in USA, as it was taken care by Divasutra. - Namita G., Boston

Care & Longevity

Care is about attentiveness, not intervention.

We recommend allowing time between wears and avoiding unnecessary cleaning. When needed, gentle hand care or professional dry cleaning is preferable. Frequent washing, harsh detergents, or prolonged soaking can affect texture and finish over time.

Natural variations in tone or softness may emerge with wear. These changes are part of living with handwoven materials and reflect use rather than wear-out.

Thoughtful care allows what you choose to remain with you for years, not seasons.

Important Information

Handwoven traditions involve human skill and judgement at every stage. As a result, subtle variations in weave, texture, colour, or alignment may be present. These variations are inherent to handloom practices and are considered a mark of authenticity rather than imperfection.

We make every effort to represent colours accurately; however, screen displays may vary. Minor differences should be expected and do not affect the integrity or quality of what you receive.
