Woven at the looms of Biren Kumar Basak, master weaver from West Bengal, whose Tangail and Jamdani legacy is shaped by decades of practice, rigorous standards, and sustained mentorship of skilled weavers. His workshop carries forward a lineage recognised with the Padma Shri for its contribution to Indian handloom.

Craft Lore

Jamdani is woven by hand, inserting supplementary weft motifs directly into the fabric as it is formed. The lightness of the cloth belies the discipline required to maintain balance, transparency, and form.
